Formed in 2005 Monochrome Media are an internationally renowned video production company based in Portsmouth’s Centre For Enterprise. Monochrome Media are the only company of their kind along the south coast. Their team consists of four Portsmouth Graduates and boasts an Apple Certified Editor, a rarity in the industry. With high quality cinema adverts, documentaries, podcasts and promotional videos amongst their expertise Monochrome Media pride themselves on cutting edge design and innovative ideas.

So far they have produced work for a list of impressive clients including the BBC, Volvo Ocean Race (worldwide) and SEEDA.  They were also involved in developing Video Podcasting as a new medium for the University of Portsmouth to recruit prospective students.  Their Video Podcasting venture is one of the first uses of such technology by any university in Europe.  Discussions took place with Apple Europe and the technology was successfully launched.

Since winning awards for Best Edited Short Education film (AVID®) and the Enterprise Challenge they have worked on many interesting projects including a music video for singer Ginette and Presenter Idol, a competition run in schools to promote Portsmouth’s UP For It Enterprise.

The future holds further success with work for a major film company in the pipeline…
