The striking vessel, which aims to give its 408 passengers the ultimate cruising experience, has seven passenger decks and is fitted with luxury suites, four restaurants, and two swimming pools. The ship offers the most space per passenger of any cruise ship in the world, after being modelled on the original ‘Europa’, which was similar in size but was built for 200 more passengers.
Portsmouth Continental Ferry Port has been host to a number of cruise ships this summer, including two visits by the Sea Cloud II, a five star luxury tall ship which during the summer months travels around the British Isles and Northern Europe.
