Priorities for 2007/08

The choice of objectives must be dependent on its relative priority for the City but also the ability to influence and achieve the objectives set by the City Growth board and its sub groups.

The board recognises its limited time and resources and so has focussed on a key number of key objectives. These objectives have been selected through an extensive process of discussion that has been informed by the original strategy and included all of the ideas collected at the two City Image conferences. These were then refined by the City Growth board, the cluster and 'cross cutting issues' groups that dealt with barriers to business growth. All the original objectives have been retained for review and inclusion in the future.

The objectives that have not been included in this priority list are either being carried out by partners, including SEEDA and the City Council or beyond the current scope of the City Growth programme.
